Add your brand

There are two ways in, and both come down to the same thing: hand over your brand manual and let it read.

In the app

A new account starts here, and you can come back to it any time from Add brand on your home screen.

Drop your files anywhere on the page — guidelines, logos, fonts, and any images or a favicon you want to bring. Whole folders work, which matters for fonts (a family is usually twenty-odd files). braaand reads the manual for your colors, type, tone of voice and rules, uploads everything, and names the brand from the material.

If you're on a team, an Add to line under the button says where the brand lands. It defaults to your team, so a client brand is shared from the start; switch it to Private to keep one to yourself. See teams and agencies.

From there it keeps going, and you can leave at any point:

• What do you make? Pick the kinds of thing you produce — campaigns, events, quotes, hiring. It uses that to suggest layouts.
• Your first templates. A few layouts from the braaand library, each turning into your brand as it renders — same design, your colors, your type, your logo. Keep the ones you want.
• The command bar. Press ⌘K once and it shows itself: your colors, your fonts, then what your guidelines say about voice, each asked and answered on your own brand.
• Your first creative, in the editor. It makes one from your template and then changes it while you watch — a different color scheme, a rewrite in your brand's language.
• The factory. Your creative goes in, three variations come out, a judge scores them, and the ones that pass land on a board you can share.

Or let your AI do it

In your connected app (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code), drop in whatever you have:

• Your brand manual or style guide (a PDF is perfect)
• Logo files
• Font files
• A few favorite photos or illustrations

Then say:

Add this brand to braaand. Read the manual for colors, fonts, and tone of voice, then set everything up and upload all the files I've attached.

No manual? Drop in your logos and a photo and say:

Add a brand to braaand called [Brand Name]. Pull the colors from the logo, use the font files, and pick the best photo as the default image.

No files at all? Just describe it:

Add a brand to braaand called [Brand Name]. Primary color [hex], accent [hex], headings in [font], body in [font].

Your AI reads everything, uploads the files, and sets the whole brand up in one go — colors, fonts, logos, default image, all of it.

On a team, add "put it in the [team name] team" and it will — otherwise the brand is personal, and personal brands are capped by your own plan.

What you end up with

• A brand with your colors, fonts, and logos ready to use.
• A library of everything you dropped in, so it's there for future creatives.
• A default image chosen from your photos, so new layouts preview with a real picture instead of a gray box.
