The assistant

The assistant is braaand's chat. Ask it for creatives in plain language, have it recolor or rewrite what you're looking at, start a pipeline, or find things in your brand. It's one conversation that follows you: the same chat, the same thread, wherever you are in the app.

Where it lives

• On home and on a brand's overview, it's the big greeting bar at the top of the page. On a brand overview it's scoped to that brand.
• Everywhere else, press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) or click the orb in the bottom-right corner, and it appears center stage. Press ⌘K again, or Esc, to dismiss it.

Pin it as a floating window

If you're working with the assistant a lot, pin it. Click the pin icon in the bar and the chat becomes a small floating window that stays with you across every page, conversation, scroll position, and half-typed message included.

• Move it by dragging the strip at the top. Resize it from its left and top edges.
• Its home is the corner, right above the orb. Drop it on the orb (or double-click the drag strip) and it glides back home.
• Close it with the ×. It stays hidden until you bring it back with ⌘K or a click on the orb, with the conversation intact.
• ⌘K toggles it just like the centered bar: one press to summon, one press to dismiss, from anywhere.

The window remembers where you left it, how big you made it, and whether it was open, across page loads too. Unpin it from the window's header to go back to the summon-and-go bar.

Scope

Inside a brand, the padlock next to the input shows what the assistant is allowed to see. Locked (the default) means this brand only. Click it to let the assistant use every brand you have access to, for example to compare two brands or copy something between them.
